The AA82 (AA82-060) InterMusic? intercom system is designed to meet the needs of pilots and crew in demanding environments. This InterMusic? unit supports up to six positions and can be linked via a tie line to the forward flight crew when using an AA83 intercom system. The AA82 offers passengers full control of their intercom and entertainment functions. The front panel controls allow users to adjust their intercom level, VOX threshold, and music level. Receive level, receive balance, ICS balance, ICS bass, music muting and balance can be set using internal controls. With these controls, users can make intercom audio appear to be coming from the left and receive audio from the right, this is useful to assist users in identifying the source of incoming audio. Stereo audio is muted during incoming transmissions to increase intelligibility. A front panel indicated allows easy visual setting of VOX threshold and indicates RX signals.
