The Model 1421 Scorsby Motion Test Table(230010-12)simulates the roll, pitch, and yaw motions of an aircraft during flight. It is primarily used for production, qualification testing, and exercising of gyroscopic aircraft instruments and is a standard in the aircraft industry. The Scorsby table can be operated from the front panel controls or through the remote communications interface. The front panel controls consist of a power switch, LCD display, and four keys: run/menu, increase, decrease, and enter. Full computer automation is accomplished via the RS-232 interface or an optional IEEE-488 interface. A closed loop motion control system consists of an optical encoder located on the high speed shaft of the gearmotor providing high resolution feedback for smooth Scorsby motion with a constant frequency.
This Model 1421 Scorsby Motion test table(230010-12)operates on 230 VAC at 50/60 Hz, 20 cycles per minute, and includes a pedestal.
