The IFR 6000 DME/TCAS Flight Line Transponder Test Set provides functional tests of airborne transponders (XPDR) Modes A/C/S, distance measuring equipment (DME) systems, TCA I and II, ADS-B equipped transponders, 1090 MHz emitters, and and Universal Access Transceivers (UAT). The IFR 6000 test set contains built-in signal generators and modulators for XPDR and selected DME frequencies and preforms ramp operations using lightweight, directional antenna.
Compact and lightweight, this weatherproof unit has a detachable antenna, backlit display, large glove-friendly buttons, and a simple user interface that provides most common parameters that users require on one screen. Compliant with FAR Part 43 Appendix F.
