The Viavi ALT-9000 radio altimeter test set is a portable flight line test solution that uses fiber optic delay to allow it to work with all types of radio altimeters. The ALT-9000 will test the complete radio altimeter system — allow technicians to isolate problems to the antenna, coax, LRU or or indicator. This eliminates unnecessary LRU swaps or other system component replacements.
