The AV-289 Series broadband blade antenna is qualified by the FAA for use as a transponder antenna and also can be used in cellular, 4G, PCS, WiFi, and UMTS applications. It has a polyarylamide plastic shell and a 6091-T6 aluminum base construction with a chemical conversion coating per MIL-C-5541. This antenna is designed to operate at speeds up to Mach 1 and altitudes of 55,000 feet. It includes o-rings and mounting hardware.
