The DGL-1 programming dongle allows fleet operators to easily program the aircraft 24-bit (Standard Message Protocol) address into a compatible ELT. This makes is easy for fleet operators to conveniently transfer ELTs between aircraft and reduce downtime.
The DGL-1 is designed with an attached top cover. Both the cover and the dongle remain with the aircraft, all that is needed is to swap out the ELTs. Once and ELT is installed, the DGL-1 automatically programs the ELT.
