(SAIC for short) is a light multi-purpose aircraft manufacturer under Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC),which has comprehensive ability in research & developmeng, manufacturing, service and maintenance of General Aviation aircraft. Now, SAIC has become a technology intensive enterprise that unify scientific research, production and management into a whole.
The major aero products include Y5B series aircrafts, LE500 light general aircraft, and Dragonfly series ultra-light aircraft. The Y5B series aircraft is currently the sort of general aircraft, with the largest quantity, the biggest annual workload, the most extensive field of adaptability, and the greatest contribution in general aviation. LE500 aircraft (Little Eagle) is a kind of 4-5 seat light general aircraft with fully independent intellectual property,which has attained the type certificate issued by CAAC.Moreover, it has better adaptability and favorable sales market prospect, and it has formed mass production capacity.
